Account and sign-in steps
If you already receive Sky Sports through a TV package, inspect that package and the programme guide first. You may already have the channel required for the selected fixture. Sky's four-year announcement names Sky Sports and NOW; it does not require every viewer to buy both.

Payment and free-access conditions
Check who bills your account: partner-billed options can differ. Keep the purchase confirmation so you can find the account and billing channel again.
Before choosing short-term access or a monthly plan, compare your viewing dates with the payment period and any minimum term shown at checkout. A discounted monthly charge alone does not mean you can stop all payments after one fixture.
NOW's cancellation instructions distinguish a flexible membership from a minimum-term plan. Direct customers cancel on the website in My Account; cancellation of a minimum-term plan takes effect at the end of that term. Partner-billed customers need their billing partner's process.
Devices and viewing location
Use NOW's device setup instructions for your exact screen. On a compatible Samsung television, install the NOW app from its app store and sign in. On an Android phone or tablet, use the official app and your NOW account. The iPhone and iPad route also uses the app.
For a computer, the same guide lists modern browsers on Windows and Mac. It excludes Linux and Chromebook devices. Check compatibility before buying a membership for a screen you have not used with NOW before.
The device-management page lets you review signed-in devices. Adding a device and watching on several devices at once are separate questions: the viewing experience attached to your account determines simultaneous use. Check those terms if someone else will be watching another screen.

Can I check which devices have used my account?
Yes. Open the Devices area of My Account. NOW lists the devices and when they were last used; signing out and back in can refresh a missing entry.
Can I activate a Day Membership in advance and save it?
No. NOW says it starts immediately after purchase and runs continuously for 24 hours. It cannot be paused.
Can I cancel using the television app?
NOW directs cancellation to its website in My Account, rather than the TV app. Follow your billing partner's instructions if you did not buy directly.
What happens if I cancel a minimum-term offer?
The remaining payments continue until the end of the agreed term. Read the offer details in your account before selecting it for a short tournament window.
Are these UK instructions also the Irish checkout?
No. The rights agreement includes Ireland, but this membership guidance concerns the UK service. Use the Irish provider's local offer if you will watch there.
Can I use this guide while watching from another country?
Choose the country where you will be watching in the international IPL guide. Do not assume a UK purchase establishes access elsewhere.
