Cricket Matches uses Google Analytics 4, Cloudflare and an Nginx web server to deliver and measure the public site. This notice explains those activities and the referral records we create when you follow a paid partner link.

You can read our guides without creating a Cricket Matches account. We have no viewer registration or payment checkout. You use an external provider for a streaming subscription or betting account.

Requests to the site

Cloudflare handles requests to the site and provides delivery and protection services. Its privacy documentation describes technical information such as IP addresses, traffic-routing details and system information.

Our web server has access and error logging configured. We use server logs to operate the site and investigate errors. The fields and storage arrangements for these logs differ from the referral events described below.

Analytics and browser storage

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits. A page_view event was checked during setup. Google describes user counts, session statistics, approximate location and browser or device information in its default collection documentation.

Google's default web implementation uses a first-party cookie named _ga to distinguish visitors. Analytics-storage settings can change that behaviour. We have not established which cookies or other storage each visitor's browser creates here.

You can inspect and manage stored site data in your browser. Removing a cookie affects the browser's stored copy; it does not recall information a provider has already received.

Paid partner links pass through our redirect service, direct-to.org, before opening the external betting service. Our affiliate disclosure explains the commercial relationship and the limits of any viewing claim.

The redirector records a referral route, the originating page path when supplied, the request time, a country code and a country group. Cloudflare supplies country information when available. A country can remain unknown.

The application event contains no IP address, browser user-agent, HTTP referrer or cookies. Cloudflare and the web server handle technical request information separately.

We use these events to monitor referral traffic. An automated process sends the event details to the site owner through Telegram. Telegram therefore receives those details as part of delivering the notification.

Storage periods

Our web server is configured for daily log rotation and retention of 14 older log files. Empty logs can be skipped, so this does not guarantee deletion of each visit's information after 14 days.

The referral-event log has no automatic deletion schedule in the configuration checked. Google Analytics, Cloudflare and Telegram use separate storage arrangements. We have not verified their retention settings for this site or the owner's notification chat.

External providers

After a redirect, the external operator handles your visit and any registration, identity checks or payment under its own terms and privacy notice. Read that notice before providing account or payment information.

Service names in our viewing guides describe viewing options. A commercial referral does not confirm video rights, eligibility or identical privacy practices across providers.

Privacy questions and requests

Email contact@cricket-matches.tv about this site's handling of information. Include the page or referral route and the issue you want us to review. Do not send a streaming password or full payment-card details.

Contact the relevant provider about a streaming or betting account held with that provider. We do not promise access to its account controls or deletion of information it holds.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give Cricket Matches my streaming password?

No. Sign in with the provider you choose. Cricket Matches has no viewer account for that password.

Does removing Analytics cookies prevent a referral record?

A request that reaches direct-to.org can create a server-side referral event independently of Analytics cookies.

Can Cricket Matches close my betting account?

Your betting provider controls that account. Contact its support team about account settings or closure.
