If you later want to stop renewal, SonyLIV's cancellation help distinguishes payment routes. Direct card, UPI and wallet purchases use My Purchases; app-store purchases need the relevant store's subscription controls. Check where your receipt came from before looking for the cancel option.
No price quoted in a past cricket guide guarantees the cost of a June 2027 subscription. Check the billing period, any renewal and the current offer conditions before paying.
Frequently asked questions
Will Mobile Only work in a mobile browser?
No. The checked pack description restricts it to the Android and iOS apps.
Can I cast Mobile Only to my television?
The pack description excludes Chromecast and TV. Choose the appropriate supported-screen pack instead.
Does a paid pack remove advertisements from the cricket?
Sports are an exception to SonyLIV's ad-free wording. Do not buy a pack expecting uninterrupted ad-free match coverage.
Why does my TV still ask me to pay?
Check the active purchase and account first, then use SonyLIV's reactivation instructions. A second payment should not be the first troubleshooting step.
Are the 2027 subscription prices confirmed here?
No. The agreement confirms rights; this guide describes service conditions checked on 27 October 2026.
Does the same Sony agreement establish viewing outside India?

Subscribe and activate the screen
Subscribe through SonyLIV
The official signup instructions describe this sequence:
- Open the SonyLIV app or website and choose Subscribe.
- Select the plan that fits the required sport and screen.
- Register with your phone number and complete OTP verification.
- Apply an eligible offer code if you have one, then complete payment.
After payment, sign in with the account you used for the purchase and check that the subscription is active before opening the event. If you already subscribe, inspect the current entitlement before buying another pack. An offer supplied through another company can have its own activation and billing process.
Activate the television with the subscribed account
If the television asks you to subscribe again, SonyLIV's TV help says to check that it is using the same account as the active purchase. Verify the subscription in My Purchases on another device.
For reactivation, choose Sign In/Register on the TV to obtain its four-digit code. Open Activate TV in the mobile app or browser, then enter the displayed code. Use the instructions for your own account and screen; do not treat another streaming service's pairing process as interchangeable.
Sony's rights period and the 2027 match channel
The Sony rights announcement dated 10 August 2022 establishes the Sony Sports and SonyLIV route through 2028. It does not name the channel carrying each 2027 session. Check your television provider's Sony Sports listing for the chosen Test and commentary feed.
Screen and casting restrictions
SonyLIV's pack description excludes desktop, mobile browser, tablet, Chromecast and TV from Mobile Only. Premium has broader platform access. Check that your pack supports the television, even if you have installed the app and paid for a subscription.
Do not select a mobile plan on the assumption that casting will supply television access.
